Outstanding condition program to the 1912 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and New York Giants, the first World Series to be played at Fenway Park, the newly opened home of the Red Sox. Boston would take the Series 4 games to 3, with Smokey Joe Wood coming in to relieve in Game 8(1 game ended in a tie), after starting 3 games previously, and picking up his 3rd win of the Series. Inside pages have photos of every Boston Red Sox player with an accompanying 1/2 page biography, a full page article on the Red Sox management, and rosters of both teams. The program is also loaded with very interesting period advertisements. The program has been very neatly partially scored in pencil. Some very light creases here and there but the spine is tight. This has to be one of the finest examples of this early World Series program in existence.
