1949 University of Kentucky Men's NCAA Championship watch with a 14K Gold charm/clasp given to S. Lankford. The back of the Bulova watch face says "NCAA Basketball 1949". The front 14K gold charm clasp has 1949 around a basketball logo, with "NCAA Basketball Championships and S. Lankford". The leather band is well worn and appears to be original. Kentucky finished 32-2 under legendary coach Adolph Rupp in 1948-49, capping off their season with a NCAA Basketball Championship. Four players from the team were drafted into the NBA - Alex Groza - Round 1 Indianapolis Olympians, Wallace Jones - Round 1 Washington Capitols, Ralph Beard - Round 2 Chicago Stags, and Cliff Barker - Round 5 Washington Capitols.
