Very well done vintage caricature portrait of former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Jack Dempsey by famed international caricaturist Vincenzo Maria Zito, known simply as Zito. Dempsey has signed the 7 1/2" by 10 1/4" piece in very strong, 9/10 looking blue steel tip fountain pen "To Zito Best of Luck Your Friend Jack Dempsey 9-25-35". In addition to the large portrait Zito has also drawn an image of Dempsey in the ring and a side facial profile. Piece in overall very nice condition with a small stain on the upper left edge, light toning along the right and bottom edges, and a few small nicks to the left edge. Will look great framed!
