You have to smell it to believe it! This New York Yankees home pinstriped jersey was worn by starting pitcher C.C. Sabathia in Game 5 of the 2012 American League Division Series vs. the Baltimore Orioles. And was it ever put to use! Sabathia pitched a complete game 4-hitter allowing one run, walking two and striking out eight to clinch the series for the Yanks and send them into the ALCS. After the game, the celebration was on, and this massive size 56 Majestic artifact has the champagne stains to prove it. Mixed with the sweat and wear only a 6'7" 300-lb. mammoth of an athlete can produce, the champagne certainly adds a unique staining to the entirety of the fabric, not to mention a stench that belongs in a wafting museum.

All the proper tagging, logos, and holograms are included from a typical 2012 game-worn Yankees jersey. Only this is far from typical game use. In addition to the champagne and sweat stains, there are two significant dirt marks, one to the right of his navy number '52' stitched on the back and another on the front left sleeve. To top it off, Sabathia has signed the '5' on the back in 9/10 silver paint pen with his no. "52" and "'12 ALDS" inscriptions.

Comes with Letters of Authenticity from Yankees-Steiner (197949) and James Spence Authentication (X55871), as well as the MLB hologram (276962 EK) for game use.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
