Pair of items relating to the 1,000 game of Goose Gossage's Hall of Fame career, pitching for the Seattle Mariners against the California Angels, from his personal collection. Gossage is one of only 15 pitchers to attain this lofty mark.

1) OAL (Brown) baseball that came out of the umpire's bag. On the ball Goose wrote in blue "Game Ball Out of Umpires Bag- 1,000th Appearance Anaheim Sta. Aug. 4th 1994". He later signed the ball in black with inscription "HOF 2008".

2) Over-sized crystal commemorative baseball given to Gossage by the Mariners. Finely etched onto the ball are every detail about the game pertaining to Gossage. Beautiful piece!

LOA from Goose Gossage.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
