It seems like a lifetime ago that Alex Rodriguez was on top of the baseball world, batting cleanup behind Ken Griffey Jr. for the Seattle Mariners and hitting moon shots into the left-centerfield bleachers of the Kingdome. A-Rod used this Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick bat during the 1999 season in which he yawned his way to 42 homers and 111 RBIs in just 129 games to win his 3rd of 10 Silver Slugger Awards, all while handling the physical demands of shortstop.
Rodriguez has signed his name with the inscription "HR Bat Game Used 99!" on the barrel in 9/10 blue felt tip pen. "619B", "330" and "99" are engraved in the knob. The ash bat with standard finish measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 31.1 oz. There are cracks on the handle and the barrel with some blue and black discoloration on the barrel. Extensive use exhibited by the cracks and multiple ball marks on the barrel.
JT Sports Authentication for game-use.
