The Boston Red Sox stood alone atop the baseball world in 2007 for the second time in just four seasons and the seventh time in club history. Boston capped a four-game sweep of the Rockies in the 103rd Fall Classic with a 4-3 win in the deciding game played at Coors Field in Colorado. Presented to a key front office employee, this top of the line "A" version ring is made of 14 karat white gold. Eight rubies making up a pair of red socks sit atop a diamond-encrusted baseball field, both of which rest upon a blue sapphire. The words “WORLD CHAMPIONS” encircle the perimeter along with a ring of diamonds. One side panel reads "7TH WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP" above a three dimensional relief of Fenway Park with "4-0 SWEEP" below. The other side panel reads "Sanchez", "DR OPS"(Director of Operations) and "RED SOX 2007" with a red enamel Boston "B" and championship trophy depicted in between. On the inside is stamped: "BOSTON RED SOX 10-28-07" and "Jostens 14K". One of the most beautiful and desirable World Series Championship rings out there! Ring weight: 70 grams. Ring size: 12 1/4.
