Awarded to Jose Canseco as the leading vote getter for the American League in the USA Today 1990 All-Star Game balloting, the imposing 11-inch high award features a silver replication of the USA Today 1990 All-Star Fan Ballot (3-by-9 inches) on a silver-finished plaque attached to a heavy stone that presents the ballot with a slight bend. It in turn rests on a 5 1/2-inch square silver "diamond," while a 2-by-6-inch silver plaque below intones "American League, Jose Canseco"; it is attached to the front side of a 8-inch square (2+ inches high) heavy stone base. Atop the stone base is a 3-inch in diameter silver baseball. The trophy is essentially as-issued and problem free; as noted in the "heavy" descriptions, the entire piece weighs in at about 13 lbs.
