Beautiful 14K gold and enamel charm celebrating the Federal League Champion Indianapolis Hoosiers of the new third major league.(The Federal League was an Independent minor league in 1913) The Indianapolis Hoosiers edged the Chicago Chi-Feds by game and a half to take the first Federal League Championship. 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" charm features an enamel baseball at center inside a gold glove. "Champions" at the top with "Of the Federal League" on the glove below. "1914" is at the bottom. Leaf designs at both sides with crossed bats behind. Back has a leaf design along the right edge with "14 KT" stamped on the bottom edge. Rare and beautiful piece in terrific condition.
