John Elway wore these Converse cleats during a legendary NFL career that included leading his Denver Broncos to six AFC Championship Games and five Super Bowls, winning his last two. Elway and Denver won their first Super Bowl title by defeating the Green Bay Packers, 31–24, in Super Bowl XXXII. The Broncos repeated as champions the following season in Super Bowl XXXIII by defeating the Atlanta Falcons, 34–19. Elway was voted MVP of that Super Bowl, which would prove to be the last game of his career. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004 in his first year of eligibility. The Hall of Famer has enhanced these heavily game-used Size 11 1/2 Mizuno cleats by penning a black Sharpie autograph on the toe of each one, adding his inscription "#7" to the right shoe. As noted, the shoes show extensive game use but remain largely with all elements intact and as-issued, including the intricate embroidery on the Mizuno label on the outside of the tongue flap, though there is some flaking of the padded areas on the shoes' interiors. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bill Ficke.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
