As it was for "The Adrmiral" David Robinson, "The General" title anointed to Bobby Knight was more poetic than literal, a testimony to his legendary reputation as a stern and demanding leader, and perhaps a nod to his first coaching assignment at Army from 1965-71. Over the span of nearly fopur decades, Knight won 902 NCAA Division I men's college basketball games, most all-time at the time of his retirement and currently third all-time behind his former player, Mike Krzyzewski and Coach Jim Boeheim of Syracuse. He is most well known as the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers from 1971–2000, where he led his teams to three NCAA Championships, one National Invitation Tournament (NIT) Championship, and 11 Big Ten Conference Championships. Knight has signed this attractive pair of white leather shoes in black marker, planting one signature on the outside left heel and another precisely on the toe of the right shoe. The Size 13 shoes show some use but are still quite pristine, with all elements intact and largely as-issued, right down to the delicate white stitching on the panels throughout. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bill Ficke.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
