14K gold pendant given to Hockey Hall of Fame member Dick Irwin, head coach of the 1937-38 Canadian Division Champion Toronto Maple Leafs. Irwin spent 34 years(1922-1956) in the National Hockey League, the first 7 as a player and the last 27 as a head coach. Top of pendant reads ""National Hockey League Champions". Back of pendant has "J. D. IRWIN" at the center surrounded by "Toronto Maple Leafs", "1937-38", and "14K BIRKS". Pendant has been attached to a 10" gold ring. Toronto Maple Leafs logo along with 1937-38 on one side of ring and NHL logo on the other. "10K" stamped on the inside of the ring. Size 11 1/4.
