From one of the most influential players in the history of the NBA comes this important pair of Converse All Star shoes, signed and inscribed by Hall of Famer Magic Johnson. His career achievements include three NBA MVP Awards, nine NBA Finals appearances, 12 All-Star games, and 10 All-NBA First and Second Team nominations. Johnson was a member of the fabled "Dream Team", the U.S. basketball team that won the Olympic gold medal in 1992. Johnson was honored as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History in 1996, and enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2002. He has signed on the outside of each shoe: near the top directly above the "Magic" purple stamping, adding the inscription "To Big Bill, Good Luck" on the left shoe; and adding "To Big Bill, Take Care," on the right shoe. The shoes show good game use but remain with all elements intact and largely as-issued, though there has been a bit of fading on both autographs. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bill Ficke.
