Evander Holyfield pair of red EVERLAST acetate satin boxing trunks worn for his fight against Adilson Rodrigues on July 15, 1989 at Caesars Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada. The trunks feature a white waistband and white striping down both legs. Stitched into the front waistband of the trunks is an EVERLAST logo patch. On the legs of the trunks in white embroidered lettering is “Real-Deal/Holyfield.” Formerly stitched into the waistband of the trunks was a logo patch for Holyfield’s main sponsor at the time “TODD 1.” The center of the TOOD 1 patch has been cut from the trunks, leaving the EVERLAST logo underneath. Since the EVERLAST logo on the waistband was covered during the fight, there was an additional EVERLAST logo affixed to the back of the trunks that has since been removed. Holyfield made quick work of Rodrigues in this fight, knocking him out at 1:29 in the second of the scheduled 12 round fight. In doing so, Holyfield improved his professional record to 22-0. Size Extra Large.

Originally sold in Julien's Evander Holyfield Auction.
