Goldsmith (Official?) League blue and red stitch baseball signed twice by Yankee hall of Fame Home Run King Babe Ruth. On a side panel rests a bold, 8-9/10 vintage blue ink signature. Some smudging can be seen at the top of the "b" and "th". On the sweet spot you see an 8/10 black ink "Babe" with a lesser "Ru", the result of the ink in Ruth's pen failing. This is further proven by the small scribble below in the same ink where Ruth tried to get the flow going again. Also by the fact that Ruth used 2 different color ink pens. The resultant problem on the sweet spot led to the beautiful autograph on the side panel. Ball has toned evenly over the years.
