This is a sparkling Size 42 satin warmup jacket worn by Bill Russell, one of the great stars from the standout Los Angeles Dodgers National League ball clubs of the 1970's. Cey anchored shortstop in an infield that included fellow All-Stars Steve Garvey (first baseman), Davey Lopes (second baseman) and Ron Cey (thid base). This quartet was the most enduring infield in baseball history, staying together as the Dodgers' starters for eight and a half years. The jacket boasts the W. Goodman & Sons collar tag and blazing white piping on collar, sleeves and at the waist. There is barely a whisper of any fraying of the delicate white stitching around the Dodgers script on the front or Russell's name on the back. The three-time All-Star has enhanced it with a bold silver Sharpie underneath his name on the back. The blue fleece inside is as pristine as the rest; the white metal zipper has no corrosion and is in working order. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bill Russell.
