This 1974 Los Angeles Dodgers National League Championship Ring was presented to the club's standout shortstop, Bill Russell, one of the key figures in the great Dodgers ball clubs of the 1970's and the anchor of the longest intact infield that stayed together for an MLB record 8 1/2 seasons. The 10-karat ring boasts real diamonds constructing the "LA" team logo at the center of a blue stone on the ring's face, encircled by raised text reading "Dodgers National League Champions." Left shank is engraved "Russell" above the Dodgers logo and his No. 18 in a baseball. Right shank announces the "1974" year of issue above a Dodger Stadium in miniature. "Balfour 10K" stamping inside band, which measures to size 9 1/2. Ring presents very nicely with minimal wear, with just a bit of noticeable tarnishing on a portion of the Dodger Stadium engraving on the right shank. Weight thirty-two grams; Comes in an attractive, original Balfour blue box with gold metal edging and blue-felt interior. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Bill Russell.
