Absolutely unique concept conceived by ever-inventive Steiner group to commemorate the final season at the old Yankee Stadium with an elegant 69-inch high wood and glass cabinet displaying 81 MLB Authenticated game-used baseballs, one from each of the final home games at the original “House That Ruth Built.” The 81 baseballs, handsomely residing in individual blue Steiner "pouches," complete with yellow draw-strings, each have the MLB Authentication hologram affixed to the OMLB Selig Yankee Stadium Commemorative Baseballs. As noted, the cabinet stands nearly six feet high, and is approximately 6 1/2 inches deep. A large wooden-framed door (with lock and key) opens nearly the length of the cabinet, with nine baseballs (in their pouches) arranged neatly on each of nine glass shelves. A 24-by-3-inch gold nameplate toward the top of the door notes in etched black lettering "Yankee Stadium - The Final Season" stacked above "This Display Case Contains One Authenticated Game-Used Baseball From All 81 Regular-Season Home Games During the Final Season at Yankee Stadium (1923-2008)." A comprehensive and remarkable homage to baseball’s most famous and storied cathedral.
