Outstanding typed signed letter from World Heavyweight Champion to Floyd Patterson and his representative concerning a re-match of a fight between the two. Liston states that his representative, John Nilon, "is the sole person authorized to act on his behalf". Liston has signed the document in beautiful 9/10 looking dark blue ink "Charles Sonny Liston". Another hand has written at the top "REC 12/4/62 3PM". Letter itself in very nice condition with the usual two folds, a light diagonal impression across the lower left corner, and a small"rust" line at the upper right corner. Also included is the original Registered Special Delivery envelope. Great piece of Heavyweight Boxing memorabilia.
