An enterprising autograph collector knew just what to do when he spotted legendary Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson at a gas station on the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut in the early evening in late September of 1967. He ripped out the calendar page for the next day and politely (presumably) asked Robby to sign. The result is this handsome blue ballpoint signature adorning a Sept. 30, 1967 calendar page that presents essentially Ex but has had the upper left-hand corner buttressed with a small piece of scotch tape. The autograph collector supplied a good deal more information about the "where and when" than you might typically have at your disposal with such artifacts, including the time (1730-1800 hours - we suspect he may have been a military man) and the fact that Robinson was driving a dark green Lincoln Continental.

Comes with a full LOA by PSA/DNA.
