Here then is a baseball that qualifies as a national treasure both in the U.S. and in Puerto Rico. The Great Roberto Clemente signed this baseball in his elegant style in blue ballpoint on the sweet spot. The baseball, a Rawlings "Official League" ball, remains in superlative shape so many decades later, essentially in as-issued and problem-free condition. The Hall of Famer even added an inscription in Spanish of "Sinceramente," essentially "Sincerely," just as it sounds.
