Prior to 1970 pro football’s ultimate prize was known as the world championship trophy and inscribed "World Championship Football". Renamed in 1970 the inscription was changed to "Vince Lombardi Trophy" in honor the Packers legendary former coach. Presented here is a stunning 20 1/2" tall 1993 Super Bowl XXVIII (Dallas Cowboys vs Buffalo Bills) full size replica Vince Lombardi Trophy. This trophy has the appearance of the original that was hoisted in victory by Cowboys coach Jimmie Johnson in the midfield celebration at the Rose Bowl on January 31, 1993. This finely produced trophy was utilized as an adornment for a television studio set. "Vince Lombardi Trophy" and "Super Bowl XXVIII AFC - NFC" appear engraved on front with NFL logo attached at center. Impressive overall display quality with tarnish and a few small flakes of silver missing from the football on top. With access to the original being impossible, this is the next best thing any collector could hope for.
