This pair of bricks were part of the original 1922-23 construction of Yankee Stadium. With the "Goldbrick" cast in each 7-by-4-inch (2 inches high) brick, the brick is then housed in a mirrored bottom stand that extends 7 inches high and is 10-by-6 inches at the wooden base. A metal nameplate 8 inches long notes "Brick From Yankee Stadium (1923-2008," and "This brick was used during the original construction of Yankee Stadium (1923-2008)." The famed Yankee Stadium facade and the Yankees and MLB logo flank the text on each side. A 9-by-5-inch acrylic case covers and protects the brick. Both bricks appear to be in essentially pristine and as-issued and problem-free condition, and come with die-cut 8-by-10 inch Steiner Information plaques and authentication sheet. MLB AUTHENTICATED.
