This is the kind of thing that more typically is found in a museum: the actual home plate from Safeco Field in Seattle on Sept. 13, 2011, upon the occasion of Mariano Rivera becoming the second pitcher in MLB history to record 600 saves. The home plate boasts an enormous 13-inch black Sharpie Mariana Rivera autograph across the middle, along with his inscription of "600th Save" and the date, 9-13-11. The home plate shows similarly enormous game use, presumably not from base runners crossing it with Rivera on the hill. The piece comes with the extensive Steiner and Major League Baseball Authentication assurances and certification.
