If this museum-quality masterpiece doesn't propel you back to Madison Square Garden and the NBA's formative years, nothing will. Considering its lineage approaching a half century, the fleece appears in remarkable condition and retains a blazing-blue lustre undimmed by the passage of so many years. The orange-and-white knitted piping around the collar, shoulders and at the sleeves is similarly in fine condition and largely problem-free. Some wear and fraying of the stitching is visible around the "New York" orange and white tackle twill on the front, but nothing that remotely detracts from the presentation. The blue metal snaps on the front appear without issue as well; same can be said of the snaps on the back of the shirt for the nameplate, which is missing. Just a phenomenal piece, with half the fun being pondering the names of the various Knicks from those giddy days at the Garden who might have worn this beauty.
