Hall of Famer Frank "Home Run" Baker gets the royal treatment and deservedly so in this wonderful first-generation 8-by-10 black and white image by the legendary photographer from the period, Paul Thompson. The official stamping from the great photographer appears on the back of the photo of Baker in his follow-through. It presents nicely but suffers hardly a whit from insignificant paper loss on one corner (not on the image) and some minor, pesky small tears (again, mostly on the narrow white border). Literally hundreds of Thompson images were employed during the early years of the 20th century in creating many of the legendary early tobacco issues, including the Gold Borders, Triple Folders and many others.
