Clearly one of the more unique gifts proffered to John Havlicek during his historic farewell swing through the NBA cities in his final season of 1978, Houston Rockets fans presented the Celtics legend with this handpainted emerald green Size XL shirt that remains as pristine today as the day it was handed to him 35 years ago. The hand painting is elaborate, with the front of the shirt noting "Grifs and the Houston Fans say, 'Thanks, John Havlicek'"; a shamrock is painted as well on the front pocket. On the back: "And may the luck O'the Irish Always be with you," atop a large portrayal of a shamrock, a rainbow, a leprechaun and a pot of gold, plus the signature of the artist. Speaking of signatures, the final bit of artistry on this one was supplied by the Hall of Famer in the form of his distinctive bold, black Sharpie signature on the front, along with his "#17" inscriptions. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek and the silent approval of Irishmen everywhere.
