This is an 11-by-13-inch wood plaque carved in a "badge" shape that lauds John Havlicek's "Contribution to Basketball and the Inspiration to the Youth of the Ohio Valley," with the title Merit Award above his name and "by B.H.C.C." All of the engraving is on a smaller gold-finish metal "badge of roughly 6 1/2-by-7 1/2 inches, which is flanked by silver metal wreathing and three gold stars on the top. It is in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition, with no wear of any description along the edging of the woodwork. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
