From one of the most revered of the ballplayers from the prewar era comes this personal bank check from Hall of Famer Walter Johnson, drawn on The Germantown Bank in Germantown, Md., which was where he lived in retirement after his baseball career ended. Signed by Johnson in his attractive signature, 8/10 to 9/10; the 1941-dated check itself presents in Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt condition, though there are folds that would signal a different technical grade. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Johnson Family.
