Nice pair of Philadelphia Phillies press pins for the 1950 and 1980 World Series.

1950 - The Philadelphia Phillies captured the imagination of baseball fans with the young "Whiz Kids" winning the first National League pennant for the city since 1915. The pin features a Phillies player doffing his cap with "1950 World Series Press" in red below."Martin Sterling" stamped on the back. Nice condition with some tarnish to the letters at the right bottom.

1980 - The Phillies won their first World Championship, led by the slugging of Mike Schmidt and the pitching of Steve Carlton and Tug McGraw. Two piece pin features Veterans Stadium at top with medallion attached by a 2 link chain below. Medallion has Liberty Bell surrounded by "Philadelphia Veterans Stadium" on one side and Philly Fanatic holding Phillies pennant with "World Series" below. Stamped "Copyright Harrison Erickson". Perfect looking condition.
