June 22, 1937 full ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship fight between Champion James J. Braddock and young challenger Joe Louis, held at Comiskey Park in Chicago. Braddock by passed a fight with Max Schmeling to fight Louis due to a lucrative contract made by his manager Joe Gould with Louis's promoter which would eventually bring Braddock over $150,000 over the next 10 years. In the fight, Braddock came out strong, knocking Louis to the canvas in the first round. But Braddock was unable to fully use his left arm due to arthritis medication he was taking and eventually was knocked out by Louis in the 8th round. Louis would be later quoted as saying Braddock was the bravest man he ever fought. Ticket graded VG-EX PSA 4 but displays better in eye appeal.
