This time the treasure comes from yet another iconic figure from the Philadelphia resurgence in the mid-1970's, the big bear Greg Luzinski, who delighted Phillies fans for the entire decade with mammoth home runs and plenty of them. He finished a 15-year major league career with 307 homers and 1,128 RBi's to go with a .276 batting average, numbers that earned him a place in the hearts of a generation of the notoriously, uh, finicky baseball fans in the country. On the inner band is the Wilson manufacturer's tag with cap size 7 1/2 stamped in red. Under the bill is his No. 19 written in black marker directly above a handsome Luzinski autograph, also in black marker. The cap shows good game-use with sweat staining and appears to have no alterations of any kind. A Large Mizuno white batting glove (left hand) is also included in the lot, displaying good game use but otherwise problem-free, and boasting a blue Sharpie Luzinski autograph along the knuckles. The final element in the lot are two burgundy sweat bands, both in excellent condition, with small, brown leather Phillies logo intact and attached to each.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
