From the Phillies' great slugger during the otherwise dismal decade of the 1960s comes this important Johnny Callison game-worn and signed cap. Callison socked a total of 226 homers and knocked in 840 runs in a sterling 16-year major league career, with the vast majority of those coming as a member of the Phillies (185). This classic cap then bears witness to that tumultuous decade that saw the Phillies rise to genuine prominence in the middle of perhaps the greatest five-team pennant race in league history, only to surrender to a September collapse that secured instead yet another alarmingly depressing notation in the history books. On the inner band is the Wilson manufacturer's tag, with cap size 7 stamped on the underside of the band, which shows enormous usage but no difficulties or issues that might detract. Under the bill is his No. 6 written in black marker; Callison signed the bill of the cap on the top, also in black marker. The cap shows good game-use with sweat staining and appears to have no alterations of any kind.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
