Beautiful early 1900's Bachrach & Brothers "The Champions of 1894, '95 and '96" real picture postcard features the Baltimore Orioles, winners of 3 straight National League pennants from 1894 through 1896. Fascinating postcard actually pictures the 1894 Baltimore Orioles team, winners of 24 out their last 25 games to capture their first National League pennant. On this team were 7 future Hall of Famers - Manager Ned Hanlon, 1st baseman Dan Brouthers, shortstop Hughie Jennings, 3rd Baseman John McGraw, left fielder Joe Kelly, right fielder Willie Keeler, and catcher Wilbert Robinson. Unused postcard displays much better than the given technical grade. Postcard is perfectly centered with a crystal clear image. Corners are about VG. One crease across the upper right does not break the surface paper on the front. A 3/8" by about 1 3/4" area along the lower left side appears to have been possibly taped at one time, although there looks to be no surface paper loss. Once again, a real eye appealing piece!
