John Havlicek sealed the win for the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the 1965 Eastern Conference Finals against Wilt Chamberlain and the Philadelphia 76ers by knocking away Hal Greer's inbound pass in the final seconds. It is one of the most famous plays in basketball history, punctuated by the unforgettable call by Celtics legendary announcer Johnny Most. Most’s gravelly proclamation “Havlicek stole the ball!” rings through the annals of time as one the all-time greatest calls in sports.

The ultimate celebration of Havlicek’s historic play is this enormous 44” by 34” photographic montage. Finely produced on thick photo stock, the piece shows sequential photos of the play with descriptive text, the Celtics logo at center and, of course, Johnny Most’s famous call. This is one of only three pieces of its kind with the offered example being John Havlicek’s personal copy. The other two copies are owned by Havlicek’s son and daughter respectively. Havlicek has added his appropriately large (12” long) autograph in bold blue sharpie and exclusive edition number “1/1”. The piece is ready for framing and display as a centerpiece in the finest collection of Boston Celtics memorabilia.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
