Actual game used baseball from the September 29, 1978 game between the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers in which Hall of Fame pitcher Rollie Fingers recorded his 37th Save of the season to tie the National League record at that time. Fingers recorded the final 4 outs of a close 3-1 San Diego victory. Rollie has signed the baseball in perfect looking 9-10/10 dark blue ink on the sweet spot and inscribed the following "My 37th Save of 1978 - Against the L. A. Dodgers at S. D. Stadium 9/29/78 Tying N. L. Record". ONL(Feeney) ball displays good game use and has been lightly shellacked.
LOA from Rollie Fingers.
