This elegant Size 12 1/2 sterling silver ring was awarded to Rollie Fingers as a member of the Birmingham A's club, winners of the Dixie Series Championship as the top team in the Southern League in 1967. A large blue stone is at the center of the face, encircled by raised lettering of "Southern League Pennant Winners." One shank has "Dixie Series" above a figural of a ball and bat, along with "1967"; the other shank has Finger's name above the same arrangement of ball-and-bat figural and "1967). Inside the band are engravings indicating the ring manufacturer, Balfour, and "Sterling." The ring and accompanying black velvet presentation box, appears to be in excellent condition, save only for the expected tarnishing and a small indentation on the edge of one shank that hardly detracts from the overall presentation. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Rollie Fingers.
