The NBA sent All-Star squads to tour Japan in both 1975 and 1976, and this warmup suit was worn by John Havlicek on the 1976 Tour that likely included a half-dozen or so contests between East and West squads of touring American professionals at venues that included Tokyo and Osaka. The imposing yellow color scheme on the jacket seems appropriate for the Land of the Rising Sun; the jacket and pants seem to be in virtually as-issued and problem-free condition, with nary of whisper of wear around any of the delicate felt letters applied to the front of the jacket or the huge Onitsuka logo that graces the back of the shirt. Directly beneath the logo is a 7-inch, bold, black Sharpie John Havlicek autograph. Onitsuka tagging on the color has a small, hand-printed "17," which is also found in tiny hand printing inside the front. Comes with an LOA from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
