This heavyweight Samsonite suitcase was used on official Ohio State road trips by John Havlicek, whose name appears as "Hondo Havlicek" on a label maker strip applied to the front that also notes "1960 NCAA Champions" as well. An Ohio State decal is affixed below and has suffered a bit over a half century with some scuffing and paper loss. Below that is the absolutely largest Havlicek autograph we've seen at more than 20 inches long in all of its bold, black Sharpie munificence. The brown suitcase - 26-by-19 inches and 6 inches deep - opens to reveal a largely intact and excellent condition interior, which has separating panels and various accoutrements designed for dress shirts and pants, including hangars, straps and racks. The suitcase shows a good deal of wear and handling, mostly the expected scuffing and scratches you might expect from a suitcase that received extensive use. It also has an Eastern Airlines identification tag with Havlicek's name on it. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
