Boston television station WBZ presented this 18-inch high trophy to John Havlicek as the team's most valuable player in the 1976-77 campaign, his next to the last year in the NBA. A 6-inch silver figural of a basketball player sits atop the cover of a sterling silver bowl 11 inches in diameter and 8 inches high. The bowl in turn sits on a 7 1/2-inch square wood base, black and in two tiers, that also features a silver nameplate 5-by-2 1/2 inches that says in all-caps: "John Havlicek, Most Valuable Player, 1976-77 WBZ-Celtics." On the bottom tier of the black wooden base, Havlicek signed his name in attractive silver Sharpie. The entire piece appears to be in as-issued and problem-free condition, with the sterling silver bowl showing the expected tarnishing. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
