Perhaps no other player in professional sports ever took such impeccable care of equipment and artifacts relating to historic events in his career than John Havlicek and subsequently added elegant highlights in terms of hand-printed information chronicling the moment. This was the ball used on by Havlicek on Jan. 31, 1976 to score his 23,150th point, pushing him past another pretty fair country basketball player of the period, Elgin Baylor. The official Wilson NBA ball shows good use, along with distinctive gold-and-black block lettering added to provide the details of the historic moment. One panel has his name, 23, 150th Point and 4th All-Time NBA Scorer; a second panel has "at Buffalo" and the date, along with a sparkling black Sharpie autograph. Artisans added an additional graphic element to this particular artifact, adding the gold paint to all of the seam work on the ball. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
