For the better part of the decade of the 1970’s, John Havlicek was the heart and soul of a Celtics franchise that was making the adjustment to a new world order that didn’t necessarily have Boston being crowned NBA champions each and every year. That said, it was hard to shake the feeling that Celtic garb - the emerald green and white - constituted NBA royalty’s sartorial splendor. Such was the aura of things like this superb home jersey and shorts, all in remarkable condition and seemingly indifferent to the conventional ravages of time. The Size 44 Sand-Knit tagged jersey is resplendent in its brilliant whiteness, complemented by blazing green piping and embroidered front and back lettering and numerals that show little or no fraying of the stitching and much less else to suggest their origins in another era entirely. The Size 38 Wilson-tagged satin shorts are hardly less impressive, boasting a recently added striking black John Havlicek autograph and No. 17 inscription; the Hall of Famer signed his name in silver Sharpie along the No. 7 on the back of the jersey. With both components showing the ideal balance of evident game use and structural integrity, combined with direct player provenance, it is hard to imagine a more desirable game worn uniform from the Boston Celtics legend. Includes a LOA from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
