This is Havlicek's personal trophy from the famed all-star benefit basketball game that raised money for stricken NBA standout Maurice Stokes. It is from the 1968 game, held two year's prior to Stokes' death in 1970. A 6-inch square marble base has five metal pieces painted in gold: a 4-inch in diameter basketball that extends the overall height of the trophy to 8 1/2 inches and four others, one on each corner, that picture a symbolic eagle figure (2) and "19" and "68". Havlicek's remarkably elegant signature is featured in bold black Sharpie along the front of the larger marble base; the signature reveals only a couple of slight scuffs that in no way detract from the overall presentation. A small brass nameplate 2 1/2 inches long notes "10th Annual Maurice Stokes Game." Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
