For a generation of basketball fans who grew up with the game in the 1960’s-70’s, one of the indelible images as John Havlicek would enter the game would be of him brusquely shedding his warm-up jacket and unceremoniously flinging it to the bench. This then is that jacket that you recall in your mind’s eye. Used in multiple seasons, the Size 46 Sand-Knit-tagged home warm-up jacket is alternately remarkably well-preserved and yet shows considerable wear around the tagging and the two green-and-gold shamrocks on the shoulders and to a lesser degree in the stitched and embroidered “Celtics” letter across the front. Directly beneath the removable “Havlicek” name strip on the back (minimal fraying of the stitching - velcro intact and exuberant), Havlicek has added a large black Sharpie autograph and No. 17 inscription. A momentous Boston Celtic game used artifact offering the ultimate package of quality, historical importance and provenance.

Includes a LOA from John Havlicek. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
