This imposing 18-inch trophy features a gold-painted loving cup that stips atop an 8-inch-square wood base. A gold-painted old-time microphone sits atop the loving cup, with the letters "WLW-C" engraved on the front. A 5 1/2-by-3 1/2-inch nameplate at the front says "Most Valuable Player, WLW-C Televised Game, John Havlicek, OSU vs. Indiana, Monday, February 29, 1960." Like so many of the items in his personal collection, the trophy has been extraordinarily well maintained, showing hardly a whisper of the even casual wear and tear you might expect after a half century; all elements appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition. Havlicek has added an enormous 7-inch bold, black Sharpie autograph across the front of the loving cup.
Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
