John Havlicek was presented with this imposing 18-inch tall brushed silver trophy that features a 12-inch figural athlete holding the Olympic wreath on a base that features the club logo and raised lettering denoting the Touchdown Club of Columbus. That rests atop a 6 1/2-by-4 1/4-inch wood base that is nearly 4 inches high; a silver nameplate notes: "The Fred Taylor Trophy, Outstanding Contribution to Collegiate & Pro Basketball, John Havlicek, Ohio State University & Boston Celtics, 1985." A black Sharpie Havlicek autograph appears at the bottom of the silver base. Like so much of the material in Havlicek's personal collection, preservation and care were center stage, and virtually all elements appear to be in as-issued and problem-free condition. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
