Toward the end of his fabled career, the Boston Council decided to honor the Celtics' captain with The Good Scout Award, which was presented to Havlicek in December of 1975. The 11-inch trophy features a silver pewter figural of a Boy Scout, with attractive brushed silver highlights, sitting atop a circular plastic base almost 5 inches in diameter. A silver namplate notes "John Havlicek, Good Scout Award, Boston Council, Dec. 11, 1975." It covers nearly half of the circumference of the base; directly opposite is an enormous silver Sharpie 9/10 Havlicek autograph that has to be seen to be appreciated. The figural trophy is in essentially as-issued and problem-free conditon. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
