Well done 1880's baseball comic trade card set of 8 produced as advertising for various businesses who printed their names on either the card fronts or backs. Cards feature comic baseball scenes to match the baseball sayings printed at the bottom. The term corner clef stems from the bottom corner design. Although having relatively low grades, several display visually better, the given technical rating the result of excess paper on the back from album removal. Cards are:
