From arguably the greatest performer in college basketball history comes Cincinnati Bearcats warmup jacket and pants, circa 1959, roughly right in the middle of his three-year reign atop the NCAA. Robertson's unmatched dominance at the collegiate level was acknowledged once again nearly four decades later when the United States Basketball Writers Association renamed the award for the Division I College Player of the Year the Oscar Robertson Trophy. The Lowe & Campbell Athletic Goods white fleece jacket is in remarkable condition, with Robertson's No. 12 round red patch on the left sleeve and "Bearcats" in embroidered red-and-black letters on the back. The fleece remains remarkably white after more than 50 years, betraying only a bit of slight red bleeding from the left-front pocket trim and some scratching from the red-metals buttons on the front and some resulting surrounding rust stains. Red-and-black collar, waistband and cuffs are all in fine condition, with some small damage to the No. 12 arm patch and puckering around its circular border; there is minimal or no puckering around the Bearcats lettering on the back. The accompanying black satin pants are also in excellent condition, making a concession to age only by showing loosening or loss of stitching in a couple of areas. There is some fraying or loss of the white stitching along the two red stripes down each leg; there is also considerable wear and elastic loss on the waistband and some loss of stitching on the backside.

Comes with Letter of Authenticity from Oscar Robertson.
