The pursuit of a "ring" is the obsession of every player who has been good enough to reach the NBA. Hundreds have earned highly coveted Championship rings, but only an elite class of 50 players in league history have been deemed worthy of wearing this one. This ring, made by Balfour, was presented to Oscar Robertson at the 1996 All-Star Game in a ceremony honoring the NBA's 50 Greatest Players. The 14k gold ring boldly states "NBA 50 Greatest Players" on the top. On one side are the dates "1946" and "1996" flanking the NBA logo, signifying the league's 50th Anniversary. The opposite side has Robertson's name bannered above the 50 Greatest logo and his number "1" below. The ring shows minimal wear. Oscar Robertson is not only one of the NBA's 50 Greatest, he stands near the head of the class making this one of the most desirable basketball rings ever offered. Ring size 13 1/2.
Includes a signed LOA from Oscar Robertson.
